Is Pinman 2 Free really free?
Yes — free, always. No account and no trial clock. The Free tier includes tracking, checkpoints, comparisons, the Journal, applying prepared Profiles, and the Operator Mode remote controls.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). You control the machine from any phone or browser on the same network — nothing to install on the controlling device.
How do I get into the Pinman 2 beta?
Pinman 2 is in closed beta. Apply here — tell us about your setup and how you'd use it. We add testers in waves and follow up by email.
How does the Pro license work?
One-time purchase. No subscription. Covers up to three of your own machines. Works offline. See the tier comparison for exactly what each tier includes. Licensing questions? Email us.
Is any of my data sent anywhere?
No. Pinman 2 runs entirely on your own machine — your files, settings, and captures stay there. AI features are off unless you supply your own provider, either a cloud API key or a local Ollama install, and only then does anything leave your machine.
Can I try it without affecting my real setup?
Yes. Install Pinman 2 and start with the read-only tutorial project — it walks you through the core workflow on sample data, without touching your real configuration. Uninstalling removes all traces.
